Jason deCaires Taylor, A.L.I., To Cast Head Portraits of NBC Today Show Hosts
Jason deCaires Taylor, A.L.I., the British, eco-sculptor will be creating head portraits of the 5 hosts of the NBC Today Show, in front of an audience, at Rockefeller Center the last week of July. Jason has created over 450 life casts, sinking them all in the Gulf of Mexico creating a unique underwater sculpture park and artificial reef. You can read about and see his incredible works in the Jun-July issue of ArtMolds Journal – ‘The Artists Magazine’, found in the Archives at www.artmoldsjournal.com.
The current issue features other great artists including, the hyper realist sculptor, Jamie Salmon and an exclusive interview with Iranian sculptor Iraj Moslehi who has just received the international humanitarian award for turning his art into helping the child war victims of Iran. P.S. Jason will be sinking all of the NBC host portraits, at the bottom of the Gulf. With the Today Show now hurting for ratings, they can’t see the irony that their hosts are now going as low as you can get, below sea level?
