Description

KastEZ Resin is a two-part polyurethane casting system. KastEZ Resin is mixed one-to-one by volume and cures at room temperature. KastEZ polyurethane resin produces a lower exothermic temperature than most comparable resins. KastEZ  begins to gel in 1.5 minutes and cures to an ivory white color in 7-10 minutes. KastEZ Resin is used to make casting from rigid and flexible molds. Some of the most common uses of KastEZ Resin are figurines, displays, rapid prototypes, special effects and sculpture reproductions. Easy to use. Color your castings using Cirius Resin dyes which is comparable with all polyurethanes . Just a few drops of this concentrated dye before combining catalyst and base components to create a uniform color through out the casting.

To use simply KastEZ resin pour out one of its two component parts, either Part A or B into a container. It doesn't matter which part though. Part A is the base polyurethane resin, whereas, Part B is the polyurethane resin catalyst. Now pour the other component in another container until each reaches the same volume level as the first.

Combine both components in a third container. Make certain you scrape the sides and bottoms of both containers to insure you have gotten all of the liquids out. Mix thoroughly. you will notice when both components are combined the polyurethane is a bit cloudy. As you mix the ingredients will begin to clear. When the combine components are clear you have mixe enough.

Pour into your mold and allow to set. Once set leave n the mold for another ten minutes to assure that the surface has set. After which you may demold.
