The keys are folded into boxes and slipped into the cut out squares from the reverse side. |

On the reverse side of the parting plane the tabs of the keys are hot glued to the surface of the parting plane. |

Two coats of shellac are applied to both sides of the parting plane. We make certain that the shellac also is applied to the inside of the keys. |

Clay is applied to the reverse side of the parting plane to hold the parting plane in place. In addition hot glue is also applied where the cardboard base meets the parting plane. |
