The mold maker sticks his hand between the latex mask and the plaster molds to loosen it. He does this around the outside of the entire latex mask until it comes free.

Once the mask has been freed around the neck, the mold strap is removed and the mold opened to reveal the completed latex, slush cast, mask.

Though still not yet complete, the mask is placed on its armature for further curing to await trimming of any flashing or opening cut in for eyes and nostrils. The next step for completion is painting. This will be explained in an added instructional demonstration.
